This is by far the most enjoyable gun I have in my collection. It is very inexpensive to shoot. I have been using Federal Bulk Pack 525 .22lr''s from Cabela''s and it costs me approximately 4 cents per bullet. I put over 1000 rounds through the gun this last weekend and it worked flawlessly and very accurately. With my EOTech sight and 3x magnification FTS I can consistently hit bullseyes at 100 yards. The only problem I had was when trying out some CCI Stinger HR 36 grain bullets. It jammed once or twice per 26 round mag. I tried a box of Stinger 40 grain with no problems. I am sticking with the Federal Bulk since it is about half the cost of the Stingers. The Federals leave more residue, but the gun in very easy to take apart and clean. The forend is a must. I also have a fake suppressor made by Tactical Innovations which makes the gun look that much more menacing.

I''ve had my PLR22 for about a year. It works as advertised. It works best with ammo that''s over 1400 ft per sec. Mine has jammed a couple of times with really weak ammo. It loves Stingers. I suspect in time it will loosen up and work with the weak stuff. I find the gun to be accurate. I have a Red Dot on the rail and it''s dead on at 50 yards. I just love this gun. I ordered the PLR-30 and can''t wait for it to arrive. If the PLR-30 is half the fun as the PLR22 it will be great. Kudos to Kel-tec for making guns people want at a price they can afford. Keep up the good work.

I recently purchased a PLR-22. I also bought a forend and muzzle brake for it and decided to take it out today and see how it handled. I had read reviews of misfeeding, jamming, bending cartridges, etc. and was a little worried about what I was about to get into. I had also read that it could be finicky with different ammo.
Well, Boys and Girls, I went through over 500 rounds of Federal 550 bulk pack, Remington 550 bulk pack, and Winchester 555 bulk pack without one single misfeed or jam. The gun, straight out of the box with no cleaning, performed flawlessly. I had four Kel-Tec PLR/SU22735 magazines, two that came with the gun and two which I had ordered and all performed way past my expectations. This is the most fun I''ve had at the range in a long time. I also have a P3AT and a PF9 that have never misfed or jammed. My hat is off to Kel-Tec. Either they have corrected all the maladies I have read about or I''m just damn lucky. I would recommend the PLR-22 to anyone. Glad I bought and installed the forend cause I could feel the heat off the barrel.
I am very pleased with my purchase.
